scientific journals. Today Baltic Forestry Impact factor is
0.364.

2009-02-12 The Heads of the
Institutions participating in the publication of “Baltic
Forestry” met to renew the agreement on financing of the
journal, the principles of formation and functioning of the Editorial
Board. “Baltic Forestry”
international scientific journal published by the forestry research and
education institutions of the three Baltic states, indexed in the ISI
Web of Science database and is a good example of Baltic cooperation in
forest science.

On 12th of January, the new administration and heads of the departments
were appointed: dr. Marius Aleinikovas was appointed as Deputy Director
for Science and doc. dr. Darius Danusevičius was appointed as Deputy
Director for Scientific Information.

On 23rd of December 2008, the Scientific Council of the Lithuanian
Forest Research Institute elected Professor Remigijus Ozolinčius as the
Director of the Institute.
