The current 18-members Council of the Lithuanian Forest Research Institute consists of 12 scientists of Institute, elected by the General Meeting of Scientists of the Institute and 6 members of the Council that have been appointed by Minister of Education and Science of LR. Director of the Institute is the member of Council in accordance with post held.
